As part of this year's European Championships in Portugal, Masters paddlers are also competing for continental titles. Among the participants is a familiar name from the world of sprint canoeing – French kayaker Maxime Beaumont, who claimed the Masters European title in the 200m event.

Paracanoe athletes from Great Britain, Hungary, Georgia, and the Individual Neutral Athletes topped the podium on the first day of medal finals at the 2026 Paddle Europe Sprint, Paracanoe and Masters European Championships in Montemor-o-Velho. Charlotte Henshaw was in the spotlight with two victories.
