Process is divided in 3 steps.

First you must register into the event. Go to the athlete registration, fill out the form and submit. You will get one popup confirming the registration and one email with confirmation. At that moment a unique ID number is given to you. 

In the email you receive there will be the links for the payment of your fee. Different options are available. select the one it fits your participation level. Payments are made through stripe.com, partner of the event. All taxes are already included in the fee amount. Payments are to be done by credit card.
Only when your payment is received we will confirm your entry.

In the second step you need to enter your boat into competition. 

Go to Boat registration and choose your category and put your ID number. System will recognize it and will fill your name. Also choose the option of boat transportation from Oporto to the island and back. 

At this stage, if you are submitting a SS2 you will need your ID and your Partner ID too.

If you plan to compete in SS1 and SS2( as there will be different race days) you need to do this process twice, one for each boat.

In the third step, that is optional, you request your accommodation for the event. Fill the form and you will get one confirmation of the request by email and later, one confirmation from the OC and a invoice for payment. This payment can be done by brank transfer or credit card.

Hungary leads first medal table as Szeged prepares for sunday Finals

The first European champions of the 2026 Paddle Europe Junior and Under 23 Sprint Championships were crowned on Saturday as ten 1000meters Final A races opened the medal Program in Szeged.

The opening title session immediately produced history: a new European Best Time, Türkiye’s first individual medal at these championships, a third consecutive title for Czechia’s Adam Rudolf and Great Britain’s return to the men’s podium after seven years.

Four of the ten races were won by AIN-A or AIN-B. As these delegations are not included as countries in the National Federation medal table, six gold medals count towards the official country ranking after the first finals day.

The 2026 ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships reach their final day in Oklahoma City, United States, with the Men’s and Women’s Kayak Cross titles set to bring six days of competition to a close.
