2026 PADDLE EUROPE JUNIOR & U23 SLALOM CHAMPIONSHIPS 6.8.2026
The 2026 Paddle Europe Junior & U23 Slalom Championships will take place in August 2026 in Épinal, bringing together Europe’s top young canoe slalom athletes in the Junior and Under 23 categories.
Set on a technical artificial whitewater course, the championships will challenge athletes’ precision, speed, and tactical execution in one of the most demanding Olympic canoeing disciplines. The event provides a key platform for emerging talent to compete at international level and progress towards senior elite competition.
Beyond the races, the championships aim to promote development, fair play, and international exchange among the next generation of athletes, offering a high-quality competitive environment in a well-established European slalom venue.

The 2026 ICF Wildwater Canoeing World Championships concluded in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina, after four days of competition on the Vrbas River, once again confirming Europe as the global centre of wildwater canoeing.
A total of 27 nations participated in the championships, with 21 European countries representing approximately 78% of all competing nations. Throughout the Classic, Sprint and Team events, European athletes dominated the medal tables and produced many of the standout individual performances of the competition.
